TERMS & CONDITIONS

Your artworks are printed on the undersurface of clear, tough mark resist material. Protected from wear and tear, the print lasts indefinitely. The print is viewed through the mark resist top and is less glossy than a top surface print but much more durable. As material is not 100% colourless, colours can vary slightly in hue or brightness, compared to the previous colour proof. Where the purchaser has specified that the goods be a certain colour or size, such specification shall be subject to reasonable commercial variation.

Colours proofs are supplied only upon request of the customer, that will be charged 45 € per proof. All shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer. If you need a finished confirmation sample, you will be charged 240,40 € per proof for starting photographic plates and screens, and 180,30 € extra for set-up and prepress process.

Starting costs of photographic plates and screens do not include image scan, lay out or design charges. If required, we offer these services and can originate an artwork for you at very competitive prices, only 24.04 € per computer hour. Once finished, final artwork will be submitted in a JPG file, via e-mail, for your approval. This soft proof (low resolution) is only accepted for content and not for colour. Please review the content of the soft proof carefully, prior to give your approval, especially regarding to words or pieces of text and numbers. PAD'S WORLD does not accept liability for artworks approved by customers, once they have been checked out.

PAD’S WORLD, SL is responsible for the preparation of all elements of printing process (photographic plates, screens, etc.), as we guarantee a perfectly finished work. If you would wish to provide us with your photographic plates and/or screens, no responsibility will be accepted for any errors or poor results in relation to finished product.

PAD’S WORLD, SL assumes that any logo, trademark or other pictorial works contained in artworks submitted to PAD’S WORLD, SL for reproduction have the necessary legal permission or are licensed to do so for commercial and advertising purposes, and does not infringe upon any copyright and trademark laws. Otherwise, written notice should be sent by purchaser within ten days of receipt of this document. PAD’S WORLD, SL is not liable for any copyright infringements if you fail to perform this clause.

VERY IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend a careful check of your lay out, as no responsibility will be accepted for any errors in relation to artwork, once your approval has been received and manufacturing has commenced. Especially regarding words, pieces of text, telephones and other numbers, as you are solely responsible for checking the artwork provided.

FIXED COSTS

PANTONE/SPOT COLOURS: Simple, plain colours, without gradation and/or drop shadow effects, without gradual fades from one colour to another. These effects will be considered as a full-colour artwork.
Please, take into account that WHITE is a colour too, as the top material is clear!
Photographic plates and screens: 40 € per colour.
FULL COLOUR PROCESS: 160 € per artwork.
No fixed costs will be charged for orders over 5000 pieces.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

PRICE ARE EX WORKS. FREIGHT FORWARD OR INVOICED.
MANUFACTURING LEAD TIME: 25-30 days after confirmation of order (this confirmation includes payment of 50% and artwork approval).
EXPRESS SERVICE: 10% will be added for urgent orders to be manufactured in 15-20 days.
TERMS OF PAYMENT: 50% swift transfer to confirm the order - outstanding 50% swift transfer just before sending the merchandise.
We reserve the right to supply and charge for 5% more or less for all orders.
We will not accept defective products within 10 days after receipt of the goods; provided goods should be returned via our courier. We will not pay for any courier service other than authorised by our company.
PAD'S WORLD, SL reserves the right to modify or withdraw this price list without notice at any time, due to raw material price fluctuations. We also reserve the right to make changes in our printing systems in order to improve the quality and/or performance of our products. This price list is effective from the 15th April 2008, and cancels and replaces any price list/s issued before this date.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR FULL COLOUR ARTWORKS
Files must have a resolution of 300 dpi, no more, no less.
Files must be saved in CMYK, please do not submit any RGB saved files.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ARTWORKS
Save your artwork with the real size of the mouse-pad chosen, allowing 3 mm bleed all around the mouse-pad.
If possible, a printout must accompany disks, clearly marked with Pantone spot colour references and cut marks.
If artworks are submitted via e-mail, please be sure that your file is under 10 Mb. Compression programmes are recommended: Stuffit, WinZip, WinRar, WinAce…
When the complete design is ready for output, it will be submitted via email in a low-resolution file for your approval. This approved file serves as proof of consent. If a colour printed proof is needed, it will be charged extra and shipped at your own expense.

IMPORTANT

All screen and printer fonts must be supplied and clearly identified. If there is any difficult supplying fonts, than text must be saved as curves.
Please do not submit any Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, as they do not meet the minimum requirements of colour and resolution.
Artworks with gradation (gradual fades from one colour to another) and/or drop shadow effects are considered full colour designs.
In CMYK (full colour printing), Pantone references are approximated. Pantone colours are available with an extra cost.
Some pigments cost extra too, like silver, gold…
Minimum font size is 6 points, otherwise we cannot guarantee legibility.
Custom shapes and sizes are welcome and can be made without difficulty but may incur additional tooling costs (180-200 €).
Please note that failure to follow these guidelines may result in delays and incur extra costs.
